4 Paws 4 A Cause was formed in the summer of 2021 by the trainers from Cover Six Canines, a nonprofit 501c3 which trains Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders FREE of charge. They were often approached by disabled individuals who did not qualify for Cover Six Canines, and could not afford a Service Dog. People who would greatly benefit from the use of a Service Dog. In seeing this need they formed 4 Paws 4 A Cause, a separate nonprofit 501c3 to help all disabled individuals.
We do not give our Handlers fully trained dogs. They are required to attend training and become a fully functional team. The teams are trained for Exceptional Obedience, Public Access Skills, as well as whatever special needs the Handler may require.
